Martina is a Bratislava-based designer-maker working across costume and garment design.

Her creative journey began through performance. For seventeen years, she competed and performed representing Danubia Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and Halo Halo Show Dance Group, where she also created her first costumes. This early experience shaped her approach to costume making, combining an intuitive understanding of movement with design and craftsmanship.

She studied Stage Costume Production at the Secondary School of Scenic Art in Bratislava and later earned a master’s degree in Aesthetics at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University. In 2007 she attended the IES London international program in Stage Costume Production.

Alongside collaborative costume work, she develops KREHKA, an ongoing personal project inspired by the femininity, silhouettes, and craftsmanship of a bygone era womenswear.
